The method
Magnet hold
Shake test, pocket test, upside-down test — attached to a bare phone and through cases.
Card retention
1 to 3 cards, inserted and removed 50 times, then the same shake sequence.
Thickness & fit
Measured with calipers, photographed against the phone — not quoted from a supplier sheet.
Everyday wear
Carried daily. Corners, stitching and finish photographed as they age.
